ABOUT THE "A" LITTER
We could not be happier with our "A" Litter. All the pups are healthy, outgoing, independent, adventurous, curious, and full of energy. There isn't a shy one in the bunch. These puppies will be outstanding, versatile gun dogs and exceptional family companions.
The dam, KD, is a seasoned, hard-hunting guide dog for our hunting preserve in Eastern Iowa and a patient, calm, and loving household companion. The sire, Charly, is frequently hunted by his owner and family in Sioux City, Iowa and has a very friendly, outgoing personality. Both KD and Charly have classic, staunch points, and are extremely cooperative hunters. Both are enthusiastic retrievers from both land and water, and will track a crippled pheasant to the ends of the earth. KD is from the Sengpiel line of Munsters and Charly is a German import.
The pups will have well-above average hunting skills, will be cooperative hunters of upland birds and waterfowel; and will have exceptional noses, and dense, beautiful coats with a lot of feathering. They are all very outgoing, social, and have wonderful dispositions. They have been exposed to game birds, water, and gunfire - showing no signs of gun sensitivity and a love of water. All hold their tails high, were pointing at 4 weeks of age, and display a keen tracking ability. They were born and raised in the home, have been handled extensively, are well-socialized with kids, adults, dogs, and cats. They were started on housebreaking at six weeks.
Pups are both SMCNA and NAVHDA registered. They have their dewclaws removed and are up-to-date on shots and worming. They will be microchipped before going to their new homes. We guarantee their health against genetic defects for 3 years, and will pay 50% of their NAT or HAE registration fee. [Benefits of purchasing a puppy from Brush Dale Kennel]
The pups are half-siblings to Brush Dale's Abi. Abi has proven to be an outstanding hunter; is exceptionally cooperative; loves the water, has a staunch, stylish point and a natural retrieve; and is a sweet, loving, and loyal companion. She has an exceptional nose, and a thick, beautiful coat with a lot of feathering.
