ABOUT THE BB LITTER
Eve is a gun dog who is hunted regularly as a guide dog on quail, chukar and pheasant at Brush Dale. She was imported from the Czech Republic at age 10 weeks. She is a half-sister to Kimber, Ozzy and Jaxon. Eve is an International Champion in Conformation who meets the International Standard for the Small Munsterlander breed. She is an energetic and ambitious, but cooperative, hunter who covers a lot of ground in a short amount of time. Eve has a solid, steady point and she honors point naturally. She is a natural retriever who has always retrieved all types of game to hand, without any forced retrieve training. Eve loves the water, including retrieving anything from it. She easily passed her NAVHDA Natural Ability Test with a Prize I at age 10 months.
Scout is an energetic, tireless, big searching (but highly cooperative) dog in the field. He has a staunch, correct point for a Small Munsterlander. Scout is a fantastic tracker with a terrific nose who honors point naturally. He is an exceptional natural retriever who retrieved his first rooster pheasant when he was 4 months old and has retrieved every bird shot over him, to hand, since. Scout was started at Brush Dale and passed his NAVHDA Natural Ability Test with a Prize I at age 10 months. Both dogs have sweet, loving personalities, even dispositions and great temperaments. We expect the BB Litter to be at the low-to-middle of the FCI Standard for height (females 50-51cm, males 53-54cm). They will be bold, hard-working dogs with staunch points and terrific noses. They might have shorter coats than is ideal for the Standard, but will have lots of feathering. They will be very cooperative hunters, will love the water and will be excellent trackers. We expect them to have a natural retrieve of game, both on land and from water, if properly conditioned as puppies. They will be sweet, loving and gentle family companions. Like all Brush Dale puppies, they will be born and raised in the home, will be handled extensively and will be well-socialized with kids, adults, dogs and a Siamese cat named Cleo.
